I've been searching for something that will hold glitter in place for the longest time, so I was very very excited when I saw this bad boy. This glue was in my last haul post, It was one of the few things I purchased from the Gifty's daughter store.
DIRECTIONS:
Brush thin layer onto skin. Apply sparklers, glitter, small rhinestones or similar accent to glue with brush or fingertips . Press lightly to set.
WHAT I THINK:
I've used this a few times and its amazing. A thin coat is really all you need. I just apply a thin layer of glue wherever I want, then I pat the glitter into the wet glue then let it dry.
With this, there is little or no fall out so you don't have to constantly dust glitter off your face.
This glue is primarily used for applying glitter on the body and it isn't really advisable that you use it on the immediate eye area (It states that on the bottle) so you have to be very very careful if you decide to use this on the eye are. It fumes a little so your eyes might water a little bit when you first apply it. If your eyes are very sensitive I'll advise you skip this completely. I use glitter once in a blue moon so this will do till I find a better alternative.
The consistency is almost like water so it is very liquidy (If that makes any sense). It comes in a little jar that has a brush in the lid and you get 29ml of product.

I have very dry hair and one of my major problems has always been keeping my edges tame. If you people see my hair two weeks post relaxer eh, you will run. Before I started using Eco styler gel, I was using the Organic Root stimulator (ORS) edge control. I absolutely hated it because every strand of hair that had gel on it sprang back up 10 minutes after application so it literally did me no good. I occasionally tried other products maybe something from my mum or sister and they usually did nothing for me.
After sometime I started looking for something else. I did a little research and saw a couple of good reviews on the Eco styler gel so I decided to give it a try.
WHAT ECO STYLER SAYS:
- Made with 100% Pure olive oil
- Maximum Hold
- Helps your scalp regulate its own natural moisturising system
- No flakes. No tack. Anti-itch
- Contains UV protection
- Soft hold
Eco styler Olive oil styling gel is made with 100% pure olive oil. Olive oil helps your scalp regulate its own moisturising system. Olive oil helps attract moisture to the scalp, and holds it in. Like all our styling gels, it is weightless and will leave your hair with a healthy shine and superior hold.
WHAT I THINK:
I absolutely love this product. It does what it says on the jar and for me that is enough. This product is highly moisturising, does not flake like the ORS edge control, does not leave white residue on my hair and stays put most of the time. The only time I have problems with the way it holds is when I sweat or when the weather is extremely hot, other than that it holds up pretty well. I bought this very huge jar (32FLoz) because this was the only size that Casabella had in stock at the time and it wasn't really expensive.
In the last picture you guys can see how sleeked back my edges look and it took just a tiny amount of product to get it to look like that. I use this even when I haven't retouched my hair in a long time and it still manages to work its magic. I also use this when I want to sleek my entire hair back and when I wear a high bun.
This is the best thing I've used for my edges and its hands down amazing.
Purchased from - Casabella
Price - I got this a long time ago but I'm sure that it wasn't more than N1,500.

I love painting my nails, I absolutely do. So it irritates me when any of my nail polishes especially the expensive ones thicken on me . I had this problem for the longest time especially with nail colours that I constantly applied. The more I applied them the more they thickened, it was just very frustrating. I knew that the best way to solve this problem was by using a nail polish thinner to thin the polish out but I searched everywhere ( I was in Enugu at the time) and most people didn't even know what it was. A couple of people suggested I try adding nail polish remover to the nail polish. I knew that it would help somewhat but it just didn't sound right. I later read in some articles that nail polish removers usually damaged the consistency of the nail polish and affected its lasting power.
Since It wasn't likely that I would get it here I ordered my first bottle form Amazon.co.uk for £8. I knew someone who was coming back and she just helped me bring it home.
WHAT ORLY SAYS:
Orly Nail Lacquer thinner restores life to all types of thickened nail Lacquer.
DIRECTIONS:
Apply 1-2 drops to thickened nail lacquer. Shake well, add more as necessary.
WHAT I THINK:
I've been in love with this stuff since the first time I used it. I just apply a couple of drops to the thickened lacquer and shake thoroughly. I usually start by applying like 5 drops, then I shake and apply more if needed. If the polish isn't really goopy or thick and I just want to help it apply more evenly I start with 2 drops. The thickness of the nail polish should determine the amount of thinner you start with.
WHERE TO BUY:
I bought my second bottle from DFT cosmetics in the Adeniran Ogunsanya shopping mall, surulere. Like I've said in previous posts they have a pretty impressive Orly stand.
PRICE: N1,300

HOW TO :
- I started off by applying one coat of Orly nail defense
- Next I applied one coat of orly bonder
- After that I applied two coats of Barry M nail polish in Bright purple (303)
- Next taking a gold striper polish by Jordana called Golden artist (509) , I gently applied the colour to my nails starting from the bottom to slightly past the middle. I used a striper because I wanted the gold polish to fade out towards the end and with a striper precision is guaranteed.
- I finished by applying one coat of Seche vite fast drying top coat

Y'all know that Mac fluid line is my one and only (or so I thought). I've been using fluid line ever since I started using gel liners and I've loved it so much that I haven't even bothered trying something else or looking for a cheaper alternative. Yes, I'm faithful like that.
Well like I said in my last post, I ran out of it last week and decided to give this a try.
WHAT WET N WILD SAYS:
- Versatile alternative to pencil and liquid liners
- Blendable formula, lines, shades and contours eyes
- Precision of a liquid liner with a silkier, softer finish that lasts
Create beautifully defined lines with this rich, creamy formula. Applies effortlessly as it delivers long lasting drama with a velvety finish.
WHAT I THINK:
Where do I begin??? This thing is freaking amazing! I remember seeing this eyeliner in the past and just passing it up. It comes with a liner brush which I'm not going to use not because its bad or anything but because I have something better. For a free brush though its actually decent.
This liner applies like a dream. I wore it in a tutorial that I have coming up and it lasted all day. I even applied it on my waterline (yes, it is that creamy) and it didn't irritate my eyes or even budge, Amamzing!. It is also very very pigmented. The swatch you guys see in the last picture is just one swipe so yes, it is very black.
This baby is verrrry cheap. I usually buy my fluid line for almost N4,000. The price of the fluid line usually varies from store to store but its usually nothing less than N3,500. I got this for just N900 yes N900 If you like I can even type it again N900. This is literally a steal, I'm defintely going back to get more.
