This product was on my to get list for so long and I kept skipping it because of the price. There was literally no way around it. I compared the price that it was sold for in the UK to different countries, different websites, different everywhere but at the end it was pretty much the same, I just decided to give in and try it because I'm currently trying out different highlight products.

I decided after this post to go on ahead and try some more products from Illamasqua. Their lipstick in Kontrol is still one of my favorite things ever so I purchased two more lipsticks from their matte lipstick line.

I bought this on a whim. At the time that I purchased it, I was looking for a good neutral palette that I could use to create everyday looks. I had just purchased the Lorac pro palette but this looked like something that I could use to create an entire look without reaching outside it for another color.

I am a gloss girl at heart. I love it when they are good enough to be used alone because I've realized through the years that I'm not really a big fan of the gloss over lipstick kini. Some of my favorite everyday looks involve just a liner and a gloss but I mostly gravitate towards nude glosses or pink ones. I've decided to try out more glosses with color so these babies from Selara beauty came in handy.

You can never have too many red lip colors aye? lol. They are always the safest bet especially when you are new to experimenting with color. I probably have more red lip colors than I need, but they are RED, they are merciful to me in ways that pink lip colors aren't and they don't need brain work or too much thought, they always manage to just... work.

Big faced watches have always been my thing, right from secondary school, the bigger they were, the more I loved them, thank you! and I've been on the hunt for a good leather wrist watch for a while now. I realized a while back that in in my watch collecting process, I had completely ignored anything that was not a chain watch so I was excited when I received this watch from the Daniel Wellington brand in the mail.

I went to my nearest Clinique stand a while ago to repurchase the clinique wash away gel cleanser which is literally my all time favourite make up remover and without blinking, the lady at the counter gave me news that almost felled me. I was told that it had been discontinued and I honestly didn't find it funny. A lady next to us broke out laughing at the look on my face. I stood there literally giving them the Fix It Now look and two of them immediately started swearing by the cleansing balm.

If you know me, you will know that I am a hand washing fanatic. Like I cannot put anything in my mouth without thoroughly washing my hands and please hand sanitizers usually don't cut it, thank you. I am that type of person that will walk into a restaurant, beeline for bathroom, wash my hands, sit down and then proceed to use a hand sanitizer. Why did you have to sanitize after you just left the bathroom you ask? because I opened a door in the process of leaving that bathroom and there were germs on the door handle biko! This type of relentless hand washing literally leaves my with perpetually dry hands so moisturizing my hands is not a pastime.

The Estee Lauder Double wear foundation has been on my to try list for years. I actually almost bought it back in 2012 but I changed my mind last minute and went with the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra. Well fast forward to here and now, my Teint Idole Ultra decided a few months ago to break without my permission and just as I was thinking of how to import it (repurchase it) because I was in Naija at the time, I came across a video by Nneka of Neks2u on youtube comparing the two foundations and it kind of sealed the deal for me.
