This look is very jewel toned, the eyes make it so. However I think that it would be really really appropriate for the holidays, since December is literally next week, I can't believe that the year is almost over.

I'm going to start this post by saying that my sisters made me buy this lip color. Like I mentioned in the Colouredraine haul post that I put up a few days ago, I'd wanted to buy liquid lipsticks and I wanted them all from one brand. I had already placed my order on the Colourdraine website when I saw this lipstick on their lips and there was no way in hell I wasn't getting it. They were terrorizing me with on snapchat.

I bought this oil shortly before the start of summer but I stopped using it once the weather got warm, I tend to stay away from oils in hot weather. However, I went back to it again, in my recent quest for a better hydrating body lotion. If you watched my skin care routine video,  you probably know that I was looking to replace the lotion that I'd been using.

I've been looking for an excuse to show you guys my favourite everyday nude lip combo, this look gave me one, lol.

If you've been reading this blog for over a year, scratch that, maybe two years, you might probably know that I love scented candles. I posted a review on one mid last year, see here. I collect candles, I actually own a bunch of them , however it takes extra excitement for me to want to share a recent buy, lol.

I don't think that I've ever searched for a dupe for any product the way that I searched for a dupe for the Sigma Spa brush cleaning glove. I used some not so bad alternatives along the line but I got to a point where I decided to invest in anything that would make my brush cleansing routine not so much of a chore.

I wasn't sure what to call this look at first but I decided to settle for satin, thats what the eyes remind me of.

The hype surrounding this foundation!! It was a bit crazy at one point, everyone was using it in every tutorial, with stellar reviews. I actually purchased this a few months back but I couldn't really test it out because of how busy I was with school. Well school is over and I've put it to good use.

I only wanted one item from the coloredraine brand, and it was their matte lip paint in Raine fever. It reminded me so much of the sleek flash a pout lip paint in duke. I ended up adding three additional items to my cart, they have the most amazing lip swatches on their website.

This post has been so highly requested! filmed a video for it last weekend but I've battling a very bad cold, hence the delay. The video is mainly a morning skin care routine for my face but it also gives information on skin care products that I use during the night time and on my body.

At this stage, I feel like everyone, EVERYONE, either has something from color pop or has serious intentions to buy something from them. I thought I could ignore them, I honestly thought I could but then their products kept popping up on every social media feed imaginable, I had to give them a try.

Ever since the BB cream rave started, a couple of you have always wanted me review one or share my thoughts on any that I've tried. I didn't consider them a necessity and since I hadn't seen a lot of reviews in their favor by other women of color,  I didn't have a pressing need to go look for them.

I'm extremely cautious when it comes to skin care products so I'm never one to go off and try something if I don't see the need for it. Therefore I've always used my facial moisturizer to moisturize my entire face, I never felt the need to invest in an eye cream, until last year.

This product, is without a doubt, one of those Youtube made me do it items. You know how you decide to try something, not because there is anything wrong with the setting powder that you already own but because the whole world and their grandmothers are raving about it.
