House of Tara High Intensity Pigments - Margaret Ekpo

Most of you already know that I used this Palette in my last Ankara Inspired post. I have a couple of shadows from House of Tara but in all honesty, they have nothing on this palette. I was a bit skeptical when I first got my hands on it, I noticed immediately that the colors were all matte so I was bit worried  about color pay off. It didn't take me long to realize that my worries were in vain, smh.

I looove this palette!,  all I have to do is look at it and I'm already thinking of all the looks that I could create with it. The colors are so pigmented, like look at the last picture! They were not even swatched with a base! The colors pack a punch but they blend easily as long as you use a good blending brush.

Packaging: The colors come in a sturdy black casing that looks very similar to the type that sleek palettes come in. It came with a sponge applicator that I threw away immediately after I opened  the palette.
Application: The colors apply very nicely. You cannot apply the colors in this palette without priming your eyes, it is going to crease up on you especially if you have oily lids like me. The color pay off is amazing but if you want them to look true to the way that they  look in the  pan then you will have to use a base.
Finish: Like I mentioned earlier the eyeshadows are matte so they all have a matte finish.
