This was one of those beauty buys that I made at the peak of school stress. They were dark times I tell you, but thinking of the gorgeousness was this lipstick shade always brought on temporary relief.

I'm going to start off by saying that when I'm at a Nars counter, I feel like a kid in a candy store, everything is gorgeous and beauriful, I want them all, lol. However, when it comes to paying, I always feel like I'm swallowing a big ball of fufu, one probably around the same size of my fist. Their products are very expensive, this particular lipstick sold for £24.

You guys know by now how I feel about purple so this color without a doubt immediately drew me in. Nars describes the shade as a "Pink Lilac" and that is very accurate in my opinion. It is not as cool toned as my other mid mid purple lip colors so I immediately found it appealing. The Nars Audacious lipstick in Dominque has a very creamy texture and a satin finish, so during application, it glides on easily, like a good dream. Opaque is not usually a word that I would associate with creamy lipsticks, but with one swipe of the Nars Audacious lipstick in Dominque you will be really really impressed. With the very creamy texture that it has, layering is not a problem but then again, you don't even need to do a lot of layering, since it is super pigmented. It does not feel sticky or greasy but has a very hydrating/moisturizing feel to it. It also does not feather, neither does it settle into the lines on the lips. With light eating and drinking, you can getup to 4 hours of wear with this, without touch up.

The coolest thing about this lipstick in my opinion is the packaging, the tube is magnetic so by just placing the lid on the top of the tube, without pushing it downwards, it will snap shut. I love turning the lid askew when covering the lipstick, it's a bit mesmerizing, how it immediately turns in the right position and then snaps shut, haha.
