Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Conditioner (Review)

I have very little patience when it comes to dealing with my hair. I think that it has a lot to do with the fact that I went to a boarding school where I had to cut my hair for 6 years. Therefore around the time that most of my mates were playing around with their hair, learning to style and handle it, I was making routine tripes to the barber for my mala (Close shave). It wasn't funny at the time, it's still not funny now. My mother would probably disagree though.

I've been trying to take better care of my hair for a while now, and all that prepooing, washing, deep conditioning, conditioning again, keratining (please this word is not legal), tying with waterproof aka nylon bag (I have a shower cap however, I have seen people still tie a nylon bag ontop shower cap, don't ask me why) has got a sister stressed. My least favorite part is the wait often required in between these steps.

My sister is a hair care junkie, so hair care products are to Nneoma what makeup is to Chidimma. She informed me last year that she had found an "Apiam way" (short cut) to deep conditioning, but I was very skeptical because for me, the longer I left conditioner in, the softer my hair became so I was used to having it in for hours.  She made me buy the Aussie 3 minute miracle moist conditioner  around August last year, when we were both in the states.

I have very dry hair, so I was incredibly shocked after I used this conditioner the first time. My hair turned out so soft! The softness wasn't really the surprising bit, it was the little time that it took this product to turn my hair to butter (6 minutes). On days when I'm looking to pamper my hair silly, I use the Aussie 3 minute miracle moist conditioner twice in my wash routine, so I use I use it to preppoo and then later on to condition. However when I'm in a hurry (which by the way, I always am) I just use this to condition and it works great! It hydrates my hair intensely, making it really easy to detangle and It smells amazing too! It has a very milky coconut scent and I've seen a few people complain about, but you guys should know by now that my nose does not mind a lot of things. Another thing that I really like about this product is the packaging that it comes in. The bottle is best described as a "grab and squeeze" type so you don't have to deal with a cap, especially while in the shower. I ran out of the bottles that I purchased last year a long time ago, however my sister helped me get some more while she was in the US this summer. The Aussie brand is available in drugstores here in the UK but they do not carry the moist range. This product is so inexpensive, it sells for about $3.00 a bottle. I hope that product retailers like Casabella will begin to stock this bad boy soon.

  3. Thanks for this review: I'm currently transitioning which means experimenting with products as I revert to natural hair (seems to be going ok so far!). I have a few friends visiting the states in the next few weeks so I will ask them to purchase this for me so I can try it out!
