Lush Enzymion moisturizer (Review)

Lush is one of those places that I walk into whenever I have one close by, you can smell a lush store from a mile away, lol. Some people feel its too much but my nose does not mind, never has. I bought a few things from my most recent trip, which was about three weeks ago and the moisturizer that I will be reviewing in this post has made quite an impression.

I decided to look at moisturizers at the Lush store because I had just run out of my current night time moisturizer and was open to trying something new. There was nothing wrong with the old one but for the amount I had been paying for it, there was nothing remarkable about it either.

Enzymion came highly recommended after I'd told the lady attending to me that I have very oily skin. She told me that it would help keep the oil at bay and that it was also their best selling moisturizer for people with oily skin. I left with it, hoping for the life of me that it would not break me out.

I've been using this moisturizer for three solid weeks now. The fact that it does not have SPF automatically made it a night time moisturizer for me, I am very serious about sun protection. I use this at night after I've let my acne.org treatment dry and I'm absolutely in love. The first thing I noticed the morning after I first used it was how smooth and oil free my face was, I kept touching my face, lol. It has a very thick consistency but does not feel heavy or greasy on the skin. It hydrates so well, something often lacking in moisturizers developed for oily skin. It comes in a tub that hold 45g of product and sells for £14.95 which is a lot cheaper than the Clarins multiactve night cream that I had been using. It has a very fresh, citrusy smell that might seem a bit heavy at first but it does not linger on the skin.

"By the grace of God you have been saved through faith. This has not come from you; it is God's gift. This was not the result of your works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 9:8-9

  1. Love lush! I've been wanting to try their moisturizers for dry but haven't gotten a chance to. I'm obsessed with the hair bath melts though, they make my skin feel extra smooth

  5. Raffia. ❤️ Your layouts are really nice. Cardboard layouts are nice and colorful but yours are creative.
