The Body Shop Almond Hand and Nail Cream

If you know me, you will know that I am a hand washing fanatic. Like I cannot put anything in my mouth without thoroughly washing my hands and please hand sanitizers usually don't cut it, thank you. I am that type of person that will walk into a restaurant, beeline for bathroom, wash my hands, sit down and then proceed to use a hand sanitizer. Why did you have to sanitize after you just left the bathroom you ask? because I opened a door in the process of leaving that bathroom and there were germs on the door handle biko! This type of relentless hand washing literally leaves my with perpetually dry hands so moisturizing my hands is not a pastime.
I first discovered The Body shop's Almond hand and nail cream two years ago and it has been a constant companion ever since. It offers instant hydration and absorbs quite nicely into the skin and asides from being super moisturizing, my nails also love it! It easily replaced my cuticle creams and oils because of how hydrating it was and I always look forward to using it after a manicure.

The only thing that I don't really like about it is the packaging. Inasmuch as it looks cute, the metal tube can rupture after prolonged use. My first tube ruptured inside my hand bag and made a mess and I did not find it funny. Granted I had used the shizzle out of it by the time but that was not an excuse. So if you decide to try this (believe me guys the actual product is worth it) just make sure to take care with how you use the tube. Another thing is the smell, it doesn't smell bad oh but I've seen people rant about it. I think that people mostly expect hand creams to smell really nice like flowers or bubble gum or something and this does not, it just has a clean almondy scent.

Product: The Body Shop Almond Hand and Nail cream

  1. Oh wow ! You know that you should use paper towels to open the door and to clean your hands. I know it kills trees but the dryer actually puts more germs on your hands. I use a paper towel to open the door.

    2. I always opt for the paper towels if they are available o and I also do the paper towel to door handle thing sometimes but I mostly choose to sanitize because sometimes there are series of doors and I don't want to pass through the most important one with a paper towel in my grasp :D
