Current Mani - #8

HOW TO:

  • I Started off by applying one coat of Orly bonder.
  • Then I applied two coats of Sally Hansen Nail polish in Bad to the bone.
  • Next I cut out some tape/sellotape
  • Then I applied the tape to my nails. Make sure you position the tip properly to enable you create the desired V shape.
  • Next I applied Sally Hansen nail polish in black Heart on the exposed area.
  • Once you've applied the black polish on about half of the nail, peel the tape off immediately.
  • Wait 5 minuets and apply a fast drying top coat. I used Seche Vite fast drying top coat.

    1. I buy from random places. It could be a store that has about 3 in stock or even the market. If you live in Lagos, you can try Beauty concerns, Saka Tinibu, Victoria Island. I think they have a large stash.

  6. Dimma, biko I hope you see this. I think I am allergic to formaldehyde which is an ingredient usually put in nail hardeners. I have really pretty nails but they break off a lot. So i tried sally hensen maximum growth. Started off good but then my nails started breaking off like crazy and I don't think they have recovered. They split, chip and peel. Can you please tell me how you preserve the health of your nails?

    1. Hello dear,
I honestly don't do much, they've been growing like this lately. I use Orly bonder as my base coat. I don't think it strengthens or anything but I think I believe it prevents them from splitting and peeling.
